Video Games And Wedding Planning Don’t Mix

Bullshot! listeners will know that I have a wedding coming up very soon. So my time to sit down and play video games at long stretches has decreased quite dramatically. However there are still things to talk about on the video game front.

First of all speaking of sitting down to play video games, I had my first moment yesterday where while on the toliet I had “finished” doing what needed to be done, but was doing so good at the game I was playing on my iPhone that I didn’t want to get up. That game was Drop7, and you need to be playing it, if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch. There is a free version as well as a pro version, but I’ll be honest I’ve been pretty content with the free version. I don’t know if the 3 dollar leap is necessary. I’ll do my best here to explain it. There is a grid similar to Columns or Lumines. Numbers 1-7 appear at the top of the grid. You then choose where to place the number, if the number matches the number of numbers in the row horizontally or vertically then the numbers that match disappear, and you score points. The monkey wrench here is that there are gray discs and to make those go away you have to make a number disappear next to it, twice. Like I said, it’s free, just check it out, it’s amazing.

Also on the iPhone I have been learning to play craps to prepare for a trip to the casino tonight. Craps is stupid. That’s all I got on that.

Hopefully when wedding hysteria dies down, and I am someone’s husband there will be more gaming in store for me. For now I get in short bursts of Battlefield 1943, which I like more and more every time I play it. Seriously, kids it’s worth the 15 bucks. Oh, and I have been playing Magic: The Gathering, the real physical game. You should probably talk to Fish about that.
