Just shy of the game’s one year anniversary Sony will release the GOTY edition of LBP on Sept 8th. The game will in fact retail for the full price of $59.99, but you do get some cool stuff. Media Molecule will include some of the more popular add on packs.

Also the first run of GOTY editions will come with a code for the Mod Nation Racers Online Beta. Media Molecule has also chosen 18 of the best level creators to create 18 new levels for this edition of the game. You will also get interviews with each creator explaining their level. All in all a pretty decent package for those of you who haven’t picked up Little Big Planet yet. If you have…..well……our condolences.
