Crash Course’s Price Was Not Up To Valve

Eurogamer recently spoke to Valve’s Chet Faliszek about the upcoming Left 4 Dead DLC and found out what we had already all assumed: Valve didn’t have control over Crash Course’s 7 dollar price tag.

“We own our platform, Steam. Microsoft owns their platform. They wanted to make sure there’s an economy of value there. It’s not like we’re looking at this as, ‘Oh my god, we need some money, we’re going to charge,’ obviously, or we’d do it on the PC. So it’s just kind of the way the system works right now.”

The DLC is due for a September release. It will be free on Steam and cost Xbox360 users 560 units of Space Currency.
