The PSPgo launches this week, October 1st to be exact and as we all know by now the thing doesn’t play UMDs. It packs an internal 16 gigs of flash memory and you can download to your heart’s content. The question is, on day 1 how much will there actually be to do on the system? Well it seems, plenty. 225 full downloadable games (including PSP titles, PSN-exclusives, UMD Legacy titles and PSP Minis), 2,300 movies and 13,300 television episodes. The list of launch game titles isn’t too shabby either. Gran Turismo, God of War and Soul Calibur are the standouts. Don’t feel like downloading games to the system with a credit card? Sony has you covered there too. Download code cards will be available for a number of games at retail, including God of War and Gran Turismo. More details, including what the retail cards look like are available at
IGN.
