Last week we posted three teeny tiny pictures of what looked to be new features for the Playstation 3′s XMB. Well Sony has posted a video, showing off those new features. Collectively they will make up PS3 firmware update 3.10. It will be easier than ever to show off stored photos, and of course you can change the color of your PSN ID. However, Facebook is where things get really interesting. The update also includes the ability to integrate your Facebook account to your Playstation ID. Now notice, I didn’t say you could go ON Facebook like you can with tomorrow’s Xbox 360 dashboard update. What this will do is publish your trophy and Playstation Store activity to your Facebook news feed. Also, certain games can use this to publish information(multiplayer stats?)to your Facebook page. This would be pretty much the same thing people are bitching about with Twitter, right? Auto updating of a social network is frowned upon I thought. Either way the feature is going to be there, it’s up to you to decide if you want to use it.
