Surprising absolutely no one is the news that this Fall’s entry in the Call of Duty series is being developed by Treyarch. No further details were announced, but the game is rumored to cover the conflict in Vietnam. We should probably also just assume that the game will be released in November.
As part of the same announcement Activision revealed that the DLC for Modern Warfare 2 is indeed multiplayer map packs. They are currently being developed at Infinity Ward. Nothing really shocking there. The first of the two packs are due out this Spring, and are a 30 day timed exclusive to the Xbox 360. Meaning hackers will get to fuck them up on Xbox Live first.
