SOCOM 4 Announced

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

While we can’t say just how successful MAG has been, yet, Sony has decided to “strike while the iron is hot” and announce that Zipper will be bringing SOCOM 4 to the PS3 this Fall. According to the PS Blog it takes place in an important South Asian country and it’s up to your five man squad to stop a militant revolutionary. You only have six days to stop him, and his rebel insurgents. You will fight through both urban and jungle areas, but if that’s not enough for you, the game will feature 32 player online multiplayer.

If you want to read more about the game, IGN has an exclusive article up, and if you want to see more of the game, the trailer debuts tonight on Spike TV’s GameTrailers show. You know the one with Keighley. Oh, and don’t worry Zipper says they are still fully committed to MAG. Phew, what a relief.
