Hey everyone, I had a pretty busy weekend, so I didn’t get to post any news, I hope you forgive me. Here’s a roundup of everything I missed.
Scribblenauts 2 is coming this Fall. It will include 10,000 new words, focus on adjectives, and have improved controls. Let me tell you, if you didn’t play Scribblenauts, the controls completely killed that game. Let’s hope the new control scheme works out, because we wanted to love Scribblenauts sooooo bad.
Steve Ballmer, Microsoft’s CEO was speaking at some thing, somewhere, and said that new form factors of the Xbox 360 could be on there way. Think of it like the PS3 Slim, a sleeker sexier 360 that fits in better with home entertainment systems. Kind of like how the Elite was supposed to do that. I could see a new 360 looking more like a Tivo, and probably have a built in HDD that’s non swappable. Basically, an Xbox 360 for people who don’t play games.
Portal 2 is confirmed for the Mac, and it’s looking increasingly likely that the Source engine and Steam are also coming to the Mac. We should be getting firm details later this week, with the start of GDC.
