Infinity Ward has just launched a clever little teaser site for Modern Warfare 2′s first map pack. The website, Mapathy claims that as many as 20 million people could be suffering from the condition of Mapathy. Symptoms include a state of indifference to the same old maps. It’s nice to see a kind of anti-hype surrounding this new map pack, we assumed it would be months of hype leading up to the eventual release of the map pack. It’s refreshing to see a clever little website and a release date only 3 weeks away after the hypestorm that was Modern Warfare 2. Well played Infinity Ward and Activision, well played.
