Mass Effect 2 News Flood

It wouldn’t be a day ending in ‘y’ if I didn’t say SOMETHING about Mass Effect 2, and today is extra special because I have actual news to share with you.

  • Tonight/Early Tomorrow, the Firewalker DLC will be available for free for all Cerberus Network members. The DLC pack contains 5 new missions and the Hammerhead tank, the hovering upgrade to Mass Effect 1′s Mako Space Buggy.

  • Also available tonight is the Alternate Appearance Pack. This DLC contains 3 new totally rad costumes for Jack, Garrus, and Thane. The pack will set you back 160 MS points or 160 Bioware points (that’s 2 American Dollar Points.)

  • Finally, Bioware announced that the forthcoming ‘Kasumi – Stolen Memories’ DLC will be priced at 560 MS/Bioware points (7 American Dollars). The bad news here is that the release date went from April 6th to “April.” No word on if that was deliberate or left out of the press release by accident. For the unaware, ‘Kasumi – Stolen Memories’ will contain new squad member Kasumi and her loyalty mission which is said to add ~90 minutes of gameplay to Mass Effect 2. Upon completing the mission, the play will unlock the ‘Flash Grenade’ power.

Now if you don’t mind, I am going to go sit in front of my TV and religiously check the Cerberus Network for the Firewalker pack. Call if you need anything.
