An EA Press Release says:
DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) studio, today announced that Battlefield 1943™ is the fastest game to reach 1M units sold on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
I’m not sure why EA felt the need to issue a press release on this, except to gloat. DICE has said a couple of times now that they wont be supporting this game with additional maps, instead maybe working on another downloadable title in the Battlefield series. This press release could be the precursor to that announcement, but it still stings that 1943 wont be getting any support.
