StarCraft II Collector’s Edition Revealed

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Posted in News by Jim Plachy

Blizzard makes spectacular collector’s editions and while I have some interesting things to say about this one in particular I am going to save those thoughts for tonight’s recording of Bullshot! Instead I’m just going to tell you what comes in this behemoth of a box for $100. Of course you get the game, but you also get a hardcover artbook, a 2GB USB flash drive that is a replica of Raynor’s dog tags that also hold the original StarCraft and it’s Brood War expansion, a behind the scenes DVD, a soundtrack CD, exclusive portraits and such for Battle.net, and an exclusive in-game pet for World of Warcraft. The game alone without all that crazy stuff will run you $60. The game is currently in beta with no firm release date yet, but Summer seems to be the consensus.
