If you’re going to rip off something another company does, you might as well make it something good. This is the case with free weekly DLC for Splinter Cell: Conviction. In the same vein as Mass Effect 2′s Cerberus Network, or Battlefield: Bad Company 2′s whatever you call it, the latest entry in the Splinter Cell series will get an in game dose of DLC. It all starts tomorrow(although some people are saying it’s already there, I haven’t checked)in the Extras menu. The first piece of content is a MP7A1 machine pistol. Joystiq reports that we will see more weapons, character skins, and a multiplayer map by the time the DLC reaches it’s conclusion. Hopefully Ubisoft is in no hurry to stop giving it’s customer’s cool free stuff.
