After a couple days of rumors we have firm details on the different editions of Halo Reach. What you see in the picture above is the Legendary Edition which will retail for $149.99. The statue in the picture is designed by McFarlane toys the company that makes the Halo action figures. It weighs over 10 lbs, is over 10″ tall, and features the entire Noble team from the game. The Legendary Edition also includes the Limited Edition, as well as a code that gets you a flaming effect on your helmet in multiplayer. This is all housed in a UNSC soldier’s foot locker.
The Limited Edition will retail for $79.99 and includes an artifact bag which includes Dr. Halsey’s journal, classified documents, and artifacts that will “unravel the secrets of the Halo universe”. Also included is an exclusive Elite armor for use in multiplayer and this is all housed in a “recovered ONI black box”. Bungie SWEARS that this time these will be very limited and that you should pre order now if you want one. Only time will tell just how limited they are, but if you know you want one, you might as well just go pre order one. Oh, and yes there will be a Standard Edition for $59.99, but how boring is that?
