Dragon Quest IX is a smash hit in Japan, and now it’s finally arriving in North America. On July 11th you can find out what all the hullabaloo is about and pick up a copy for your Nintendo DS. You will note that the full title of the game is Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, so yeah, that’s a mouthful, huh? Next thing you need to know is tag mode. In tag mode you can set custom greetings and even swap treasure maps with other players. That means you put your DS to sleep with Dragon Quest running and if you get within range of another DS in tag mode you will swap info. Pretty awesome, right? Good luck finding anyone doing that, because this isn’t Japan and you aren’t going Akihabra for lunch.
