Gear Live is reporting that Microsoft will announce a Hulu app for the Xbox 360 at E3. However, 1Up is reporting that while it does exist it’s currently tied up in negotiations. See the content providers have to approve that their content can be shown on the Xbox 360 and with only two weeks until Microsoft’s big E3 presser that doesn’t leave a lot of time to get things straightened out. Hulu and Microsoft could always ANNOUNCE the app at E3 and then put a mystery date on when it will be released, while Hulu gets it’s providers to sign minty new contracts that say this is all ok. Another thing to note is that both reports suggest that the Hulu app will require a subscription fee.
