Apparently, Capcom pulled the old rope-a-dope-shoryuken on us all and has finally announced a Street Fighter/Tekken mash-up. While we’ve been feverishly awaiting the latest characters to be announced for Marvel vs Capcom 3, they’ve been working on this crossover that has been rumored to be in development since the idea of mixing game franchises began. “Street Fighter X Tekken” will be a tag battle game and run on the Street Fighter 4 engine, meaning there will probably be more of an emphasis on combos and special moves and less on the Tekken style juggling. The game will come out on the Xbox and PS3. At the time of publishing, the release date was rumored to be early to mid not anytime soon.
