We have back to back motion-controlled fighting game announcements from Gamescom. Ubisoft will be releasing a Kinect controlled fighter called Fighters Uncaged. As expected, players will use their body to punch and kick their way through the game, experiencing “authentic Thai boxing.” Early on in the trailer we see jump kicks and drop kicks by characters in the game, but the actual gameplay looks like the action is relegated to punching, kicking, and blocking. Supposedly there are 70 different strikes possible, all based on actual martial arts moves. You can start accidentally kicking your coffee table in November of this year.
