A while ago, we told you about an opportunity to purchase a Gears of War 3 T-shirt for your XBL avatar that would benefit a charity called Child’s Play as well as determine the fate of Gears of War’s Carmine. Recently, Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski and Rod Fergusson released a video stating that the virtual T-shirts have raised $150,000 for Child’s Play. That money will go a long way to ensuring the happiness of a lot of sick kids, but not necessarily the happiness of Carmine. We’ll find out the fate of Carmine on April 5th, 2011, when we’re tentatively scheduled to get our hands on GOW3.
