Don't Bother

This game is the most succinct use of the Hell License we have ever seen. I mean, we felt like we were in Hell while we played it. It’s THAT realistic. You may be put off by the badge, but this game does a great job of making you feel like you’re in hell.

Its really unfortunate you guys actually chose a “don’t bother” for this game. Sometimes I agree with you, and at least when I don’t I can see your argument, but if you literally couldn’t get enough fun out of this game for a try then its a shame. The whole track of the review was “is this part better than GoW” though, which I feel kinda of encapsulates your problem.

Oh well, glad there’s a demo so people can go ahead and try it out anyway.

I definitely like it more than Fish and Aaron, but it is truly a flawed game. I think it’s worth blowing through on a Saturday afternoon just to see all the potential.

For sure. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be negative, maybe I’m in the wrong, or both of us are XD but if there hadn’t been a demo and all I had to go on was a don’t buy, thats really wouldn’t have been the right recommendation for me.

The game may be very flawed, but it doesn’t prevent some pure shallow fun being had. Funly enough, I got iton launch day, I played it on Classic like you Jim, finished it in 4 and a half hours and had a blast. I’ve went back several times to play it through looking for relics since its so short, and I’ve had good fun doing so.

Its not a god of war beater, and really what I would have said is this game isn’t worth £40, its worth £20. So I would have said rent, or wait for it to drop in price, but for some mindless fun, the cheesements, and the up-coming expansion, I definetely don’t feel its a don’t bother.

That would be Damnation, which I’d love to see you guys review for kicks!
