[E3 2011] Downloadable Prequel Star Trek Game Exclusive to PSN

A lot of Trekkies were excited to see that the recent JJ Abram’s recent reboot universe was getting a co-op centric Star Trek game for the PS3, 360, and PC. It sounds like this title is being taken seriously as God of War writer, Marianne Krawczyk, will be penning the game’s story. The story will bridge 2009′s Star Trek to the 2012 sequel. Star Trek, the game, will be coming out next year, presumably before the movie. As for PS3 specifics, Star Trek will utilize both 3D and move support, so you should start modding a dustbuster to hold your Move controller so it looks like a phaser, now would be a good time to start.

No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise a PS3 Exclusive in US

When the PS3 and 360 remakes of No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise were released in Japan last April, those of us not living in Japan assumed that those versions would eventually make their way to us. Well, that assumption was only half right as Konami has jumped into the mix and announced that the title will be a PS3 exclusive in the US of A.

On a positive (maybe) note, the game will be getting Move CON-troller support, so it should play like the Wii version in HD. Hmm, Wii HD, I feel like I’ve heard that before. In addition to Move support, the PS3 version will get weapon upgrades, new sub-missions, as well as a “Rebout Mode” in which you face off against the game’s bosses.

Konami was gracious enough to let us know that the game should be out sometime in the 365 day time frame of 2011.

Kinectimals Getting Limited Editions With Stuffed Cats

Awwwww………isn’t that adorable? Kinectimals is getting limited edition versions that will come with a stuffed animal exclusive to certain retailers, the above being exclusive to Gamestop, and will unlock that pet plus an exclusive toy for it. Have I said exclusive enough yet? These collector’s editions will cost you $60. They are very exclusive.

Buckle up because Reviewcast is about to kick the tires and light the fires as Aaron and Alex wave the checkered flag on ModNation Racers. Okay that’s pretty much all the racing cliches I know. What I’m trying to say is that you need to listen to this thing to find out why ModNation Racers is worth your hard earned money, and why it almost wasn’t. Now are you gonna walk, or am I gonna have to carry ya. C’mon, like I wasn’t going to make a Days of Thunder reference?
