First off, there is <em>Project Ogre</em>, which very little is known about. Secondly, he mentions that he has plans for&#8230; wait for it&#8230; <em>Metal Gear Solid 5</em>!</p>
<p>I know what you&#8217;re thinking: &#8220;But <em>Metal Gear Solid 4</em> wrapped up so nicely. Why are they making a sequel?&#8221; The answer to that is simple: The series makes money. It already has a strong fan base, so they are guaranteed a hit with a new game. Sadly, all we know is that he has plans for the game. Here&#8217;s what  he had to say:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I think we&#8217;ll probably have to make it at some point, but what that will be, we have no idea.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>He also went on to say that he didn&#8217;t think his involvement would actually be that significant for the fifth installment. What do you expect and/or hope to see from the next installment of the stealth espionage series?</p>

All they are telling us is this:</p>

Would he announce another <em>Metal Gear Solid </em>game even though one is <a href="http://fourplayercoop.com/news/2010/11/08/metal-gear-solid-rising-not-coming-until-2012/">still in the works</a>? Will he be bringing back his <em>Zone of the Enders</em> or <em>Boktai </em>series? Are we hoping for a new IP? We’ll have to wait for E3 to know for certain.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="tab-stops: 127.5pt;">PSM3, a PlayStation magazine from the UK, has said that Hideo Kojima, the mid behind the <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Metal Gear Solid</em> series, plans on announcing two games at this year’s E3.All they are telling us is this:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="tab-stops: 127.5pt;">“MGS maestro Hideo Kojima&#8217;s got some big announcements for E3 in June: one a quasi-logical step for an existing game, the other&#8230;”</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="tab-stops: 127.5pt;">What do you think they could possibly be? Would he announce another <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Metal Gear Solid </em>game even though one is still in the works? Will he be bringing back his <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Zone of the Enders</em> or <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Boktai </em>series? Are we hoping for a new IP? We’ll have to wait for e# to know for certain.</p>

<p>Konami is currently running an E3 press event and we got some new info on Metal Gear Solid: Rising. First up the game&#8217;s director Shigenobu Matsuyama is running the show. Kojima is not involved in this game at all, and has &#8220;passed the torch&#8221; to Matsuyama. If you saw the trailer from Monday&#8217;s Microsoft conference you know that Raiden ripped a gooey robotic spine(see: picture)out of a Metal Gear and then absorbed it somehow. Matsuyama says that is how story progression takes place. You are going to need to absorb spines. Or their goo, or something.</p>
<p>Worried that there wont be a stealth in the game? Fear not, there are stealth portions, but they do not last nearly as long as they do in traditional Metal Gear Solid games. The designers also stressed how flexible the cutting in the game is, and that you must be very careful what you cut, and how you cut it. They also said to look for more story details in the very near future.</p>
