Motorstorm: Apocalypse Delayed Indefinitely In North America

Motorstorm Apocalypse is a racing game set in a decimated post-apocalypse world. Some would feel it’s maybe not appropriate after the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. So Sony has decided to indefinitely delay the game. Will we ever see it? I would imagine yes, I mean they released that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie after it was initially shelved post 9/11. Right now is probably just not a good time to be racing through the apocalypse.

MotorStorm Apocalypse Due April 12th

Feast your eyes on the box art for MotorStorm Apocalypse, now feast your eyes on the release date, April 12th, 2011. The game will feature full 3D support, you might remember that MotorStorm is Sony’s go to game for showing off 3D on it’s TVs and Playstation 3. So expect this to be one of the better 3D optimized game. MotorStorm: Apocalypse Announced

Rumors were swirling earlier this week that the new MotorStorm was going to be set in a post-apocalyptic world, and it turns out that those rumors were FALSE! That’s right, the game isn’t set after the apocalypse it’s set DURING the apocalypse. Can you handle it?? The developers are calling the game “survival racing” which sounds a lot like Split/Second, and that game was great. I wouldn’t mind another racing game as intense and well done as Split/Second. Hopefully we get lots more details at E3, but in the meantime hit up the PS Blog for more pics and multiplayer details.

Jack Trenton rattled off some upcoming PSP games. He started talking about Resident Evil coming to the PSP… but other than “next year”, few details were given. They showed a video blitz of a ton of upcoming games. We guessed and only were able to name a handful. This is hardly a comprehensive list:
