If you thought Sony’s attempt at Playstation Home on PSP was a great idea, well it’s dead. Room was beta tested in Japan, but Sony decided it was a bad idea and will instead use the data cultivated in the beta to “enrich Playstation Network”. Oh well.

Sony has announced Playstation Room, which is Playstation Home for the PSP. You get an avatar, you can write blogs, decorate your room, and chat with friends. Pretty clever idea, let’s just hope it’s not as creepy weird as Home.
